Privacy notice
Last updated: Friday 6 November 2026
This notice explains what we collect when you use this website, why, and what you can do about it.
Who we are
Chris Spruce Cleaning Services Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 09935661. We are based in Southport and carry out pressure washing for business premises across Lancashire, Merseyside and Cheshire.
Registered address: 491 Sd Office Wight Moss Way, Southport, England, PR8 4ZZ
For anything about your data, contact us at [email protected] or call 0800 093 3267.
What we collect when you request a quote
When you fill in our quote form we collect:
- your name, phone number and work email
- your postcode, and the site address if you give one
- whether the work is for a business or a home
- the type of premises, what needs washing, and whether you are the decision maker
- the page you sent the form from
If you reached us from a Google ad, the form also sends a Google click reference. It tells us which ad brought you, not who you are.
Why we use it
We use your details to call you back, give you a free quote, arrange a free site visit if needed, and keep a record of the enquiry.
Our lawful basis is that you asked us for a quote, so we use your details to take the steps you asked for before any contract. We also have a legitimate interest in answering your enquiry and keeping a short record of it.
We use the Google click reference to see which of our ads lead to enquiries, so we spend less on the ones that do not.
We do not sell your details. We do not add you to a mailing list.
Who else handles your details
- Cloudflare hosts this website and runs the quote form.
- Make receives the form and writes it into our Google Sheet lead tracker.
- Google Sheets stores the enquiry.
- Google Ads receives the click reference and conversion data, only if you accept cookies.
Some of these companies may store or process data outside the UK. When they do, they use the legal safeguards UK law requires.
Cookies and similar technology
When you first visit, we ask whether you accept cookies. Reject and Accept are the same size and both work.
If you choose Accept: we load the Google tag, which sets cookies so we can measure how our Google ads perform. Google uses them to record when an ad click leads to an enquiry.
If you choose Reject, or choose nothing: the Google tag does not load and sets no cookies.
Always stored, either way:
- your cookie choice, saved in your browser so we do not ask on every page
- the Google click reference from the ad you clicked, held in your browser only until you close the tab, so it can go with your quote form
You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser. The banner will then ask again.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become a job: 12 months from your last contact, then deleted.
- If you become a customer: we keep the records we need for the job and for UK tax for 6 years after the last job.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- show you the details we hold about you
- correct them
- delete them
- stop using them, or object to how we use them
Contact us using the details above. We will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
